Harvey Lee Stockton

Harvey Lee Stockton, age 85, of Cassville, Mo., passed away Monday, July 20, 2026 at his home.

He was born May 16, 1941 in Shell Knob, Mo., the son of James Jefferson and Mattie Mae (Hampton) Stockton, who preceded him in death. 

Also preceding him in death were his sisters, Reta Henson, Reba Kamler, and Mary Matthews; brother, Harry Stockton; nieces, Karen Kamler and Paula Bacca; nephews, Steve Stockton and Marty Stockton; father-in-law, Charles Lewis and mother-in-law, Dorothy Lewis.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Belle Lewis; his son, Wade Stockton and wife Tracy of Rockledge, Fla.; daughter, Julie Tuttle and husband Joe of Oak Grove, Mo.; sisters, Sharon Hayworth and husband James of Washburn, Mo.; four grandchildren; one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

He attended school in Cassville and graduated from Cassville High School with the Class of 1959. He was employed as an operating engineer at Independence Regional Hospital in Independence, Mo.

He attended First Baptist Church in Cassville. 

Services were held Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Wade Stockton conducted the services. Burial was at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Cassville, Mo.
