Cassville Education Fund grant awarded

5 teachers receive more than $5,0000 in funds

Five grants totaling more than $5,000 from the Cassville Education Fund were awarded to Cassville teachers on May 7 at the Cassville Performing Arts Center.

Kendale Ellis received $2,000 for Behavior Reinforcers for Special Services students.

Jordan Ellis was awarded $1,345 for equipment for the Turf Grass and Landscape classes in the CHS Ag Education department.

Dove Haney received $765 for standing desks for use in CMS math classes. 

Cindy McCullah was awarded $474 for a kiln shelf for the CMS art classroom. 

Suzy Parnell and Maggie Cornell received $430 for program materials for the K-2 Reading Intervention department.

Established in 2010 by community volunteers, the Cassville Education Fund is a permanent endowment fund benefiting Cassville school district academic programs. 

Grants from the fund are awarded annually. Nearly $50,000 in grants have been awarded to Cassville teachers over the past 16 years.
