Robert Grady: ‘Mother’

Dear Editor:

The following is a poem for Mother’s Day:

Every day should be Mother’s Day

They love and care for us in every way

They hold us to their chests when we are babies

Their love is unconditional, not sort of, no kinda’s, no mabies

They nurse us if we are hurt or sick

Cheer us up by doing some trick

They forgive us if we have done wrong

If we are weak they are strong

They sacrifice and put us first

Love us when we are at our worst

Thank you for all that you do

Thank you Mom there’s no one else like you.
