Karen Loraine Allen

Karen Loraine Allen of Cassville, Mo fell asleep in death, Tuesday April 28th, 2026.

Karen was born in Webb City, Mo. November 16, 1947 to Wayne and Marjorie Porter. Karen was preceded in death by her older brother Joe McConnell of Monett, and  older brother  Donald Porter of Monett. Also her younger Sister Kandra Sperling of Bella Vista, Ark.

She is survived by younger brothers Dan Porter and wife Lee Anne of Sarcoxie, and brother Galen Porter and wife Debbie of Bentonville, Ark.

May 5, 1973 Karen  was united in marriage to Raymond Allen. That union lasting until her death.

Karen and Raymond were happily joined by two children, Son Wayne and his wife Sherry of Anchorage, Alaska, and daughter Crystal and husband Shane of Knoxville Tn, along with two grandchildren. 

Karen was proud to be a loving wife, mother, but most of all to be Grandmother to Aaron and Katelyn and being a life long third generation Jehovah’s Witness. Being Mostly a housewife, mother and homemaker, Karen loved telling others about her God Jehovah. Doing so as much as possible with her friends of like faith, friends she cared about very any way possible. Some of her other favorite things were being at the Kingdom Hall or annual assemblies or conventions where she could associate with friends of the past not seen regularly. Sitting around the house with Raymond and their Dog Jack, was a daily routine enjoyed by all.

If music was played in the background, it was normally Kingdom melodies, or her favorite singer, Elvis Presley. Although her father, Wayne passed in her twenties, Her Mother, Marge, remarried Alva Rector.

Karen and the rest of the family adored him as a father. She loved the Ozarks, having lived the majority of her life here, in Wheaton and Cassville, with excursions to Roaring River and Branson. Karen’s life was a testament to love, loyalty and a faith in a resurrection to a perfect healthy body, until then she will be missed and lovingly remembered until that day.

Memorial service was  held Sunday May 3 2026 at Monett Kingdom Hall at 2 PM.
