Beta Club members compete

A total of 41 Senior Beta members from Cassville competed in various events at the 2026 Missouri Senior Convention, held March 13-14 at the Branson Convention Center.

During the convention, senior Claire Reuter was selected as a finalist for the Missouri State University Scholarship and participated in an interview with the Missouri Beta Club Council. While the scholarship was ultimately awarded to another student, being named a finalist is a significant honor.

The following members earned invitations to compete at the National Senior Beta Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, this June:

10th Grade Language Arts – 2nd place

• Shelby Knoefler

11th Grade Health & Physical Education – 5th place

• Mason Rillstone

Visual Arts – Sculpture – 2nd place

• Lyndsie VanDerhoef

Visual Arts – Pottery – 3rd place

• Jack Chappell

Visual Arts – Black & White Photography – 5th place

• Alex Holycross

If these students choose to compete at the National Senior Beta Convention, they will represent Cassville as they compete against top Beta members from across the country.
