Robert Merideth “Bobby” Frye, Jr.

Robert Merideth “Bobby” Frye, Jr. of Shell Knob, Mo. passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at his home.
He was born January 16, 1968, in Winfield, Ill., the son of Robert Merideth Frye, Sr. and Emily (Moga) Frye, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Brown; his four stepchildren, who he thought of as his own, son, Joshua Keener and wife Jessica of Aurora, Mo.; daughters, Kim Goetz and husband Trae of Purdy, Mo., Whitney Delgado and husband Raymond of Purdy, Mo. and Shelia Dyer and husband Cody of Carl Junction, Mo.; sisters, Diana Merl and husband Tim of Joplin, Mo., Jennifer Smith of Washburn, Mo. and Hiedi Wallenmeyer and husband Duane of Linn, Mo.; nine grandchildren; a niece and nephew that he raised as his own, Alicia and Joey and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He attended school in Springfield, Mo. and was a proud graduate of Hillcrest High School. For the past fifteen years, he owned and operated Bob’s Mowing Service in Shell Knob, Mo. where he also served his community as a volunteer firefighter and first responder at Central Crossing Fire Protection District. He was a member of Lohmer Full Gospel.
Services were held Friday, March 6, 2026 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor David Donaldson conducted the services.
Contributions may be made to Central Crossing Fire Protection District in memory of Bobby.
