Vehicle goes off roadway, strikes tree

Two people were injured in a single-vehicle wreck at 6:35 a.m. on Jan. 14 on Highway 90, two miles west of Washburn.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, A 62-year-old woman, of Cassville, was driving a 2025 Kia K4 westbound when her vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

The woman and a passenger in the vehicle, a 62-year-old man, of Springfield, each suffered minor injuries and were transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.

Both were wearing safety devices, and the vehicle was totaled.
