Evelyn Elaine Hopkins, 86, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at her home.

She was born October 1, 1939, in Washburn, Mo., the daughter of Loy and Flossie (Hendrix) Wade, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Joe Kent Hopkins; sister, Anna Mae Burns and brother-in-law, Mickey Burns.

Survivors include her son, Russell Hopkins and wife Renee of Collinsville, Okla.; daughter, Teri Jo Shackles and husband Doug of Cassville; four grandchildren, and two step grandchildren.

She grew up and attended school in Washburn. She had lived in this area all of her life. She was a homemaker, and she was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Donnie Spears will conduct the services. Burial will be at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville, Mo..

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
