Daniel Ford, 66, of Exeter, Mo., passed away on December 11, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

He was born on January 11, 1959, in Inglewood, Calif., to Margaret Berlin. 

He is preceded in death by his wife Joy; stepfather Adelbert Richter, and one brother Damian Ford.

Survivors include his mother Margaret Delamora of Katy, Texas; one daughter Danielle Ford of Exeter, Mo.; two sons Dan Ford and his wife Rebecca of Modesto, Calif., and Daniel Thomas of Okla.; six grandchildren; two brothers, Bruce Richter of Beaumont, Texas and Peter Richter of Exeter, Mo.; eight sisters, Darlene Dodd of Katy, Texas, Desiree Ford and her significant other Jean Lafferty, Arthelda Richter of Katy, Texas, Catherine Richter of Katy, Texas, Michelle Richter-Thomas of Exeter, Mo., Pamela Tennyson of Monett, Mo., Carol Bland of Monett, Mo., and Sandra Richter of Exeter, Mo.; one cousin, Susan Reddy of Exeter, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was self-employed and operated his own kennel, where he raised bulldog a passion that brought him purpose and joy. 

Memorials may be made to Haven of the Ozarks and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
