Our young ‘Cats crossed state lines and played one of our closest opponents in an attempt to make it an annual event. If you liked good football, you should have watched a whole evening full of games. All eight teams fought their tails off to end the night, with Cassville knocking off some league champs. Now, we have two teams headed the next weekend to the tournament of champions. I would like to thank some that get overlooked: Cassville schools, Lance Parnell, Clay Weldy, the high school football team, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Elaine Boles, all the concession help, gate helpers, the Cassville Democrat, and last but not least, everyone on the football and cheer board. – Bobbie Jo Meek
