Jim Lassiter

Jim Lassiter, passed away on October 17, 2025, he was born April 15, 1943, in Berryville, Ark.
He was the only son of Fred and Bertha Lassiter.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Lassiter, four daughters, Marilyn, Linda, Anne and Laura, two sons, Eric and Jon, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He grew up in Cassville and in high school he was the center of the offensive line for the Cassville Wildcats. He was an active member of Rotary for 50 years and he was honored to be a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award. He was a supporter in the restoration of the historic Bayless House, Cornerstone Christian Ministries, Tunnel to Towers and continued to be a champion for the Cassville Wildcats until his death. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cassville.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor James Weaver conducted the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to Cornerstone Transition Home or Tunnel to Towers Foundation in memory of Jim.
