David Wayne Clark, Jr., 30, of Exeter, Mo. passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025. He was born April 9, 1995, in Joplin, Mo. the son of David Wayne Clark, Sr. and Carleen Holly (Hay) Butterworth, both of whom preceded him in death.

Survivors include his maternal grandparents, Curtis Hay, Sr. and Sharon (Yancey) Hay of Granby, Mo.; one brother, Christopher Bailey and his wife Stacy of Rogers, Ark.; one sister, Heather Edwards of Cassville, Mo. and three nephews, and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He graduated from Cassville High School in 2013, his academic ability was evident early on when he won the 8th Grade Math Competition. He furthered his education at the University of Missouri. in West Plains.

He participated in choir, where he earned both Missouri divisional and state awards. 

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Dayton Brattin will conduct the services. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, Mo.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
