isher) Irene Carmack Hood (Fisher), 95, of Shell Knob, Mo., passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville, Mo.

She was born to George and Dora Carmack on March 19, 1930, in Baxter Springs, Kan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Survivors include, three daughters, Lavetta Phillips of Shell Knob, Deborah Driskill of Moore, Okla., and Sandy “Alvina” Walker of Lynn Haven, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren; one brother, Gary Kernel of Kansas City, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 23, 2025, at White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Mo., with Reverend Zachary Leal officiating.

Interment of the cremains will be held at Friends Cemetery in

Memorials may be made to the Alliance of Churches and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.
