Ella Dean Lauderdale

Ella Dean Lauderdale, 93, of Nixa, Mo., passed away Monday, July 21, 2025, at Nixa Nursing and Rehab in Nixa, Mo.

She was born November 19, 1931, in Wheaton, Mo., the daughter of Curtis and Frona (Dopp) Price, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Bobby Ray Lauderdale; and granddaughter, Bobbie Sue Joeckel.

Survivors include her son, Larry Lauderdale and his wife Judy of Ransom Canyon, Texas; daughters, Patty Daugherty of Nixa, Mo. and Jana Sue Joeckel of Exeter, Mo.; brother, James Price and his wife Sue of Fla.; sisterin- law, Colleen Grovesner of Jamestown, Mo.; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She grew up and attended school in Wheaton, Mo., graduating from Wheaton High School.

She was a lifelong resident of Barry County. She was employed by Litho Printers in Cassville, Mo. in advertising and publication for several years.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and worked at the United Methodist Church Food Pantry in Cassville.

Graveside services were held Friday, July 25, 2025 at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, Mo. under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jeff Fugitt conducted the services.
