William Michael Fasching

asching William Michael Fasching, born May 6, 1935, in Minot, North Dakota died peacefully at home June 28, 2025, in Shell Knob, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Ann Fasching and parents John Edward and Rozina Catherine (Stroah) Fasching.
Leaving behind wife of 70 years, Carol Ann Fasching; children Clark (Denise) Fasching, Rebecca (Deacon Scot) McCullough, Elizabeth (Rev. James) Streeter, Rev. Father Jeffery Fasching, and Terence (Kathi) Fasching; grandchildren Michael Fasching, Heather (Mike) Baxter, Hannah Fasching, Sakari Ishetiar, Gabriel McCullough, Jadon McCullough, Marymichaelle McCullough, Ethan (Alyssa) Streeter, Caleb Streeter, Aaron (Victoria) Streeter and Teagan Fasching; great-grandson Wyatt Baxter.
Mike enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 17 and served four years before enlisting in the United States Air Force. He rose to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (CMSGT) at the age of 35. He retired as a highly decorated veteran with 22 years of service and continued his career at Boeing Military Airplane Company in Wichita, Kansas. By 1992, his dream of living on Table Rock Lake permanently came true.
He loved golfing, water sports, outdoors, and especially maintaining his property. Mike had a deep Catholic faith, which was evident in his daily life with Carol and his family. He was a Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a Holy Family Catholic Church parish council president and instrumental in building the new church and served as president of the Central Crossing Acres Homeowners Association for many years.
Rest in peace good and faithful servant. You will be missed but never forgotten.
Rosary was prayed at 9:30 A.M, Thursday July 3rd, 2025 with Requiem Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Shell Knob Missouri. Burial with military honors was at Lake Park Memorial Gardens in Shell Knob Missouri.
