Terry Lee Scates, 69, of Wheaton, Mo. passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

He was born August 31, 1955, in Provo, Utah the son of Leo and Vivian (Housel) Scates, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Cliff Scates and Shawn Scates.

Survivors include his wife, Terry Lynn Edie; are one son, Kris Scates and his wife Amanda of Rogers, Ark.; two daughters, Tracy Scates of Joplin, Mo. and Janetta Scates and her partner Abigail of Escondido, Calif.; three brothers, Monte Scates and his wife Va. of Jane, Mo., Ricky Wolfinbarger and his wife Shonda of Gravette, Ark. and Vernon Wolfinbarger and his wife Shawna of Gravette, Ark.; one sister, Carla Mills of Springdale, Ark.; nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

He was a heavy equipment operator for 30 years.

Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
