Caleb Hamilton Adams

Caleb Hamilton Adams, 88, of Eagle Rock, Mo. passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at his home.

He was born December 3, 1936, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Frank and Beulah (Bridges) Adams, who preceded him in death.

Also receding him in death was his sister, Judy Adams.

Survivors include his wife, EJ Dalin; his son, Jeff Dalin of Kansas City, Kan.; daughter, Juli Rasmussen and her husband David of Redmond, Wash., and two grandchildren.

He attended school in Kansas City, Mo. through 8th grade when his family moved to Roeland Park, Kan. He graduated from Shawnee Mission High School in 1954. He attended Kansas University where he joined Pi Kappa Alpha, then attended Kansas City University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business. He served in the Air Force Reserves. He worked in sales and opened his own company in 1983, selling industrial packaging equipment. He “mostly” retired in 2002 when he and EJ moved from Shawnee, Kansas to Golden, Mo in 2020. He helped in organizing and setting off Fourth of July fireworks and running the snow plow. He was involved in the Boy Scout program with Jeff and coached Juli’s softball team for ten years.

After moving to Golden, he became a member of White River Valley Sportsman’s Association where he served as president and board member. He was a member of All Faith United Methodist Church.

Memorial services were held Thursday, June 5, 2025, at All Faith United Methodist Church in Eagle Rock, Mo. Pastor Bill Kenagy conducted the service. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
