Carol May “Carla” (Levick) Nichols-Baughman

Carol May “Carla” (Levick) Nichols-Baughman, 86, of Marionville, Mo. passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at The Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville, Mo.

She was born September 11, 1938, in St. Albans, Vermont the daughter of George Dewey and Viola (Cross) Levick, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her first husband, Arnold “Nick” Nichols; second husband, Fred Baughman; two sons, James Lomax, Jr. and Kip Church; a grandson, Gregory Sparks; two brothers; four sisters; four special friends, Bernice, Barbara, Francis and Karlene and her beloved Boston Terrier, Logan.

Survivors include one daughter, Madonna Sparks of Cassville, Mo.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She graduated from high school. She was a homemaker and had lived in this area since 1972.

Services were held at Friday, September 20, 2024 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Warren Creason conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, Mo.

Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Carol.
