James Roland “Jay” Bowsher, age 92, of Cassville, Mo., passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Cassville Health and Rehab in Cassville, Missouri.

He was born December 29, 1931, in Cassville, Mo. the son of Andrew James and Lena (Wilson) Bowsher, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were all 14 of his siblings.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He attended school at Oak Grove School near Cassville. He owned and operated a painting company for over 50 years.

Graveside services were held at Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Bowsher Cemetery in Cassville, Mo., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball conducted the services.

Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Jay.
