Woman injured in collision with dump truck trailer

A Fairview woman was injured in a wreck at 2:50 p.m. Saturday on Highway 86, one mile east of Golden.

According to a Missouri State Highway patrol report, Cali Marcoux, 23, of Fairview, as driving a 2013 Ford Edge westbound when the towed unit of an eastbound 1978 Mack RL600L dump truck, being driven by Blaine Morris, 56, of Aurora, skidded into the path of her vehicle.

Marcoux suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Morris was not injured.

Both individuals were wearing safety devices. The Edge was totaled, and the dump truck sustained minor damage.
