Ralph “Gene” Eugene Anstaett, 80, passed away at his home in Cassville, Mo. on June 17, 2023.

He was born November 23, 1942, in Independence, Mo. the son of Duane “Red” Adams and Maxine Adams, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his sister Rosa Bussard. Survivors include his wife Linda Anstaett (Stringer), sons Duane Anstaett (Julie Barnett) and Danny Anstaett (wife Kelly), daughters Jene Ziegler (husband Kevin) and Ashley Anstaett (Ben Lockwood), and his brother David Anstaett (wife Jean). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was a veteran of the US Navy, electrician and machinist extraordinaire by trade, and electrical engineer by education. He worked all over the world in a wide variety of businesses, from high tech surveillance systems to complex machining and even running a successful NASCAR team.

Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Kevin Hilton conducted the services.
