Mary R. “Shelly” Burwell, of Exeter, Mo., known affectionately as Shelly to her family and friends, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

Paula Kay Henbest, 76, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away on May 18, 2024, surrounded by the love and support of her family. She was born April 7, 1948, in Cassville, Mo., the daughter of Paul Henbest and Margaret Culver Henbest, who preceded her in death.

Cha Kong Yang, born on April 4th, 1952, in Bouana, Xiangkhouang, Laos, passed away on April 30th, 2024, in Joplin, Mo. A courageous veteran of the Vietnam War, he fought alongside American troops in Long Cheng with the support of the CIA until April 1975.

Donna Kathlyn Coffey Baker, 89, of Springfield Mo., passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024. She was born in Wheaton, Mo.

Frances “Louise” Brooks, 94, of Cassville, Mo. passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Springfield in Springfield, Mo.

Clinton Douglas “Clint” McCullah, 43, of Cassville, Mo. died Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Gloria June “Lori” Ross, 70, of Shell Knob, Mo. departed from this world on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Cox Medical Center Branson in Branson, Mo.

Tedd Jay “Teddy” Selba, 66, of Shell Knob, Mo. passed away at his home on Monday, May 13, 2024.

Penny Leigh Hilburn passed away on May 6, 2024 in her home. She was born on August 22, 1958 in Monett, Mo.

Survivors include a son, James Jones of Exeter, Mo. and daughter, Donna Talbert and her husband Rusty of Granby, Mo.; two grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
