A tractor trailer hauling chickens was involved in a rollover accident at the intersection of Highway 37 and Old Exeter Road on Thursday. According to the Cassville Police Department, the wreck involved a vehicle and a semi, which rolled over in the middle of Highway 37.

A Monett woman was injured in a wreck at 3:40 p.m. on Feb. 7 at the intersection of Highway 37 and Highway W in Butterfield.

Two Cassville residents were injured in a wreck at 10:57 a.m. on Feb. 9 on Highway U, six miles northeast of Butterfield.

Cassville High School JAG students are stepping up to support local families in need by organizing a donation drive for Bright Futures. On Saturday at the Walmart Supercenter in Cassville, JAG students will be collecting items and monetary donations to help stock Bright Futures with essentials for students in the community.

Purdy extends superintendent’s contract
