LaRonda Jean (Brower) Soder, age 78, of Overland Park, KS (and formerly of Shell Knob, MO, and Omaha, NE), passed away on August 7th, 2026.

She was born June 28, 1948, in Liberal, KS, the first child of Laurence and Edna Faye (Renfro) Brower of Hugoton, KS. On September 12, 1969, she was united in marriage to Darwin “Dar” Soder who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are both of her parents, and a sister, Nancy (Brower) Isenbart of Dodge City, KS.

Surviving are her daughter Inga (Soder) Decker and son-in-law Michael Decker and grandson Ren Decker, all from Northfield, MN, and her daughter Aidan Leigh Soder and granddaughter Caitlin Soder, both of Overland Park, KS.

Also surviving are sisters Deborah Brower and Trish Brower-George and brother-in-law Dave George, as well as numerous cherished nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and in-laws.

A Celebration of Life will be held for LaRonda on October 30th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Church of the Resurrection – Leawood, in the Wesley Chapel, at 5001 W. 137th St, Leawood, KS 66224 (Wesley Chapel is on the south side of Building B).
