Jean Marie McCutchan, passed away on October 9, 2026 in Cassville, Mo., after a long illness.

She was born on April 11, 1952 to Leslie Z. Nichols and Frances Martin Nichols in Washington, D.C. who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Thomas E. McCutchan and brother, Renn Nichols.

Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Cox and Jessica Bucciantini, one granddaughter, and one  grandson.

She comes from a large family and will be sorely missed by her sister, Connie Bruce, brothers, Bobby Nichols, Gary Nichols, James (Jimmy) Nichols and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life, for the family (schedule to be determined). To leave a memorial in Jean’s honor, please donate to your local SPCA, Humane Society or preferred animal shelter, as Jean was an avid animal lover.
