A packed field of 22 four-person teams hit the greens on June 12 for the 5th Annual Fred Arning Senior Classic, hosted by the Cassville Golf Club. The tournament's top squads included Championship Flight winners Chuck Edie, Todd McCrackin, Joel Wells and Shane Boyd. A Flight winners Derral Cloyd, Curtis Adams, Gary Routh and Bill Crabtree. And, B Flight winners Kristin Houston, JR Rose, Marci Sorensen and Toby Sorensen. Beyond the competitive action on the course, the event poured heavily back into the community. Representatives from Arning presented a $5,000 donation to the Cassville Golf Club and announced plans for an upcoming donation to the Cassville School Industrial Technology Department this fall.
