Vehicle overturns down hill west of Washburn

A Washburn man was injured in a wreck at 2 p.m. on May 26 on Farm Road 1040, two miles west of Washburn.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, an 85-year-old man, of Washburn, was driving a four-wheeler, year unknown, northbound when his vehicle overturned down a hill, ejecting the drive.

The man suffered serious injuries and was transported to Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark.

He was not wearing a safety device, and the vehicle sustained no damage.
