Cassville schools released for the summer on Thursday, with teachers lining Wildcat Drive to wave goodbye to their students as the buses left for the last time this year. Summer school begins on Monday and runs through June 12. The first day of school in the 2026-2027 school year is on Aug. 25, with a tentative last day of May 21, 2027.
