Geraldine “Gerri” Bertalotto, 87, of Rocky Comfort, Mo., passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, at her home.

She was born November 22, 1938, in Exeter, Mo. the daughter of Stella Parrish, who preceded her in death. 

Also preceding her in death was a son, Billy Jack Bertalotto; a daughter, Marsha Joy Long and a sister, Mary.

Survivors include her son, Gary Bertalotto and wife Sharon of Rocky Comfort, Mo.; daughter, Vickie Intessimone of Rocky Comfort, Mo.; daughter-in-law, Helen Bertalotto of Rocky Comfort, Mo.; sister, Brenda Lane of Boliver, Mo.; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren with one on the way and many other family members that loved her.

She lived all of her life in the Rocky Comfort area and graduated from Rocky Comfort High School with the class of 1956. She later attended Crowder College in Neosho where she attained a nursing degree. Gerri was employed as a surgical nurse at Cardwell Memorial Hospital in Stella, Saint Vincents Hospital in Monett and later worked for Dr. Occeno and Dr. Warren in their clinics. She was of the Christian faith.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Union Cemetery, south of Stella, Mo., under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Mo. Pastor Tony Intessimone will conduct the services.
