Roe Neal Strickland, 78, of Eagle Rock, Mo., passed away surrounded by his family.

He was born on July 22, 1947, in Winnfield, La., to Orvile and Mary “Rolene” (Spikes) Stricland, who preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by his daughterin- law, Joyce Strickland; and one brother, Jerry Strickland.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; three sons, Leslie Strickland of Gloster, La., Bryan Strickland and wife Jennifer of Elkins, Ark., and Michael Strickland of Carthage, Texas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Kelly Strickland of Bethany, La.; and one sister, Ruby Allen of Dry Prong, La.

He was a Master Carpenter as well as a Master Gardener,a skilled beekeeper, drag racer, butcher, and winemaker, and a fabulous Southern cook.

A Celebration of Life honoring Roe will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.

Cremation Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Mo.
