Thomas James Seitz, 84, passed away on September 7, 2025. 

He was born on August 26, 1941, in Barry County, Mo., to Emit H (Jack) Seitz and Ora Nell Stubblefield, who preceded him in death. 

Also preceding him in death were his siblings, Dale Seitz, Willard Seitz, and Mildred Seitz.

Survivors include his significant other Marilyn Sy, his sister Kathy Buchan and her husband Norman Buchanan, his sister Clarice Al-Ghannam, several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

He graduated from Cassville High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri.

He owned Western Chemical Pumps for 38 years, where he established himself as a successful business owner. In his early years, he served in the Air Force and was stationed at Mather Field in Sacramento, Calif., where he specialized in repairing Hycon 73B cameras.

The funeral was on Saturday, September 13, at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Interment followed at Buckner Hill Cemetery.
