J.D. Martin, 88, of Seligman, Mo. passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at his home.

He was born October 27, 1936, in Westville, Okla., the son of Albert and Zeela (Still) Martin, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was his wife, Betty Lundy, and sisters, Katherin Edwards and Darlene Ricketts.

Survivors include his son, Dennis Martin of Seligman, Mo.; daughter, Teresa Martin of Seligman, Mo.; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He attended school in Washburn, Mo., graduating from Southwest High School in Washburn. He served in the United States Army. He was employed by Hudson Foods in the maintenance department for 32 years from where he retired.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Seligman Cemetery in Seligman, Mo., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Brent Ferguson conducted the services.
