Barry County Prosecutor Amy Boxx is a recipient of the 2026 Women’s Justice Award — Public Service, given annually and sponsored by Missouri Lawyers Media. Boxx, pictured with the award, was unable to attend the ceremony due to the Aaron Malone murder trial. According to the Missouri Lawyers Media website, the Women’s Justice Awards “recognize women across Missouri who have demonstrated leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice and accomplishment in improving the quality of justice and exemplifying the highest ideals of the legal profession.” Boxx was one of 13 to win a Public Service award, and other winners included judges, defense attorneys, legal aids and more.
