Wanda Louise Anderson

Wanda Louise Anderson, 80, of Seligman, Mo. passed from this world Friday, April 17, 2026 at Oak Point of Monett in Monett, Mo., after a lengthy illness.

She was born October 31, 1945 in Gateway, Ark., the daughter of Jonathan Sidnee and Martha Myrtle “Myrt” (Twitty) Deans, who preceded her in death. 

Also preceding her in death was her husband, 

Donnie Gale Anderson, her “Sweetie”; her brothers, Henry Deans and John Deans and nephew, Rick Sinclair.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie Paul Anderson and wife JoDee, (her favorite daughter-in-law) of Seligman, Mo.; daughter, Rhonda Kay Murphy and husband Tracy of Sheldon, Mo.; sister, Mary Mason of Avoca, Ark.; sister-in-law, Donna Deans of Seligman, Mo.; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one on the way.

She was a lifelong resident of Barry County and a proud graduate of Washburn High School in Washburn, Mo. She devoted 37 years to First Independent Bank of Seligman, retiring as vice president. She was a member of Washburn First Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Reverend Jim Erwin and Brother Ray Holland will conduct the service. Burial will be at King Cemetery in Seligman, Mo.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.  Friday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to Washburn First Baptist Church or Corinth Baptist Church in memory of Wanda.
