On Nov. 2, seven Cassville High School band students traveled to Carthage to audition for the All-District Concert Band and All-District Jazz Band. Their hard work paid off, with six students earning top honors.

Four Cassville musicians were selected for the All-District Concert Band:

• Jonah Cupps, oboe – 1st chair

• TJ Cash, Euphonium – 3rd chair

• Jacie Hudson, percussion – 4th chair

• Sterling Zucca, trumpet – 7th chair

In addition, two students were named alternates for the All-District Jazz Band:

• Aubrey Conrad, vibes

• Jarrett Paul, bass

Those chosen for the All-District Concert and Jazz Bands will advance to auditions for the All-State Band and Jazz Band in Columbia on Dec. 6.
