Charles Roy Brattin

Charles Roy Brattin, 82, passed away on June 3, 2024, at his home in Cassville, Mo.

Born on July 24, 1941, in Cassville to the late Leo and Dallis (Lane) Brattin.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Carolyn (Haynes) Brattin; one sister, Beverly Riddle; one brother, Robert Lee Brattin and one brotherin- law, Larry Riddle.

Survivors include his children, Tonya Belk and her husband Jerry of Joplin, Mo., Tammy Pueppke and her husband Daniel of Cassville, Mo. and Teresa Stumpff and her husband Donnie of Cassville, Mo. and one brother, Don Brattin and his wife Geraldine of Aurora, Mo., six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A 1959 graduate of Wheaton High School and Valedictorian of his class, he embarked on a career with the United States Postal Service, where he dedicated thirty years as a rural route carrier in the communities of Wheaton and Cassville.

His community involvement extended to the Cassville Masonic Lodge, where he was an active and respected member.

He was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.

Services were held Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Donnie Spears conducted the services. Burial was at Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton, Mo.

Contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children in memory of Charles.
