CHS Beta Club members go to state competition

National Beta members from Cassville High School are celebrating their recent participation in the Missouri Senior Beta Convention.

This is the inaugural year of Cassville Senior Beta Club, and the first competitive event for its members. Cassville Senior Beta had a total of 28 members competing in 34 various events. They were announced as winners of the following competitions:

• Emma Berndt – 2nd Place – Creative Writing (Grades 11-12)

• Caitlyn Bonass 2nd Place – Fiber Arts (Grades 9-10) • Kayden Fuchs – 3rd Place – French (Grade 12)

• Emerson Grossman – 3rd Place – Digitally Enhanced Photography (Grades 11-12)

• Quiz Bowl Team 3rd Place (Andrew Gray, Christian Renkoski, CJ Rose & Emerson Grossman)

• Marketing Team – 4th Place (Avery Chappell, Gracie Harmon, Baylee Craig & Kelsi Ware)

• Cadence Lyons Missouri State University Scholarship Finalist recipient of $500 National Beta State Convention allows students the opportunity to compete in various academic, visual arts, scholarship and team events. These victories at the state level provide an opportunity to compete at the national level. The National Convention will be held at the Savannah International Convention Center in Savannah, GA during Summer 2024.
