Cassville Cruisers hosting Cruise-In Saturday

The Cassville Cruisers will host a Cruise-In on Saturday from 4 p.m. to dusk at the Barry County Museum, south of Cassville on Highway 112. Admission is free, and the Boy Scouts will provide concessions. Monthly meetings are the Tuesday prior to the Cruise-In at Sho Me Plaza on Highway 248 in Cassville at 7 p.m. Cruise-Ins are the second Saturday of each month. Cassville Farmers’ Market open twice per week

The Cassville Farmers’ Market is open for the season, running twice a week on Tuesdays from 4-7 p.m. across from Security Bank and Saturdays on the Cassville Square from 8 a.m. to noon. The market offers local fresh cut flowers, produce, eggs, baked goods, hand made crafts and more. For more information, people may call 417-846-3539.

Cassville Branch Library events scheduled

Activities at the Cassville Branch Library this week include: Thursday, “All Together Now” activities and crafts (all ages) at FEMA Event Center at 1:30 p.m., Toastmasters at 6 p.m.; Friday, Chair Exercise at 9 a.m; Monday, Chair Exercise at 9 a.m., Sewing a T-Shirt Quilt (teen/ adult) at 2 p.m., pre-registration required; Tuesday, Painting Speckled Rooster (teen/ adult) at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., pre-registration required, $5 fee; July 12, Crochet with Ashlyn (teen/adult) at 1:30 p.m.; Thursday, “Rusty Pliers, Ventriloquist” at FEMA Event Center (all ages) at 1:30 p.m., Toastmasters at 6 p.m.

Zone 4 hosting ‘Ozarks Got Talent’

Zone 4 Mini Golf & More in Cassville will host the inaugural “Ozarks Got Talent” talent show on July 29 at the mini golf facility’s amphitheater. Acts may be up to five minutes long, and the last day to register is July 12. The time of the show is to be determines, and there is a $20 registration fee. A cash prize will go to the winner. Anyone interested in showcasing their talent may call 417-846-8954 or fill out a registration form at Zone 4, located at 16007 State Highway 76 in Cassville. Shell Knob nominated for Small Town Showcase

Shell Knob has been nominated in the 2024 Small Town Showcase, where five communities will be featured after voting on the 36 total towns nominated. Voting will close on July 15, and the five communities with the most votes will be featured in the 2024 Small Town Showcase. Old Church Gallery Farmers’ Market open

The Old Church Gallery Farmers’ Market runs every Thursday from 8-11 a.m. The Market offers fresh produce, eggs, jellies, relishes, baked goods, cut flowers, handmade crafts and more. The selection varies every week, so come early for the best choice. Old Church Gallery is located on Farm Road 1240 in Shell Knob and can be reached at 417-858-2510.

OATS rides available in Barry County

OATS Transit offers regular transportation services for the rural general public of any age, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. Please call the local OATS Transit office at 417887-9272 or 800-770-6287 to schedule a ride or find out about services in the Barry County area. People may also visit the OATS website at oatstransit.org to view local schedules under “Bus Schedules,” then click on the county of service. OATS offices will be closed, and regular routes will not be running on Feb. 20 for Presidents’ Day. Please keep this in mind as trips are scheduled near these holidays. OATS Transit is hiring drivers statewide to can continue serving riders. Openings are listed on the OATS website.

Seligman dances ongoing each Saturday

The Seligman Chamber of Commerce country dances at the Seligman Chamber Event Center are every Saturday from 7-10 p.m. No alcohol is allowed. Admission is $10 per person, and 18-and-under are free. There is a potluck, 50-50 drawing and door prizes. For more information, people may call 479-903-3640.
