Arlo is the best friend someone doesn’t know they need. This loving boy is loyal and kind. He may be a bit nervous at the first meeting, but once he knows someone has a treat and hugs for him, he is in that person’s lap. The Haven estimates Arlo to be coming up on 6 years old, and he is a cattle dog mix. He is coming up on 2 years of being at the shelter and would just love a home of his own before then. Arlo is expected to quickly adjust to his new family life. Arlo should be introduced to visitors slowly and with patience and would do best in a home with no children or older children. This sweet boy does feel more confident when another dog is around, and for this reason would do well in a home with another dog.
