Limb shredding equipment purchased by the City of Cassville was expected to be in operation at the end of November or early December, City Clerk Jo Ledgerwood said. Personnel were to be trained on use prior to opening of a tree liming service in a compost area. Leaves and gras were being accepted in the area at the city’s new north well location. Access, Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings, was at a gate just north of the new tower location. Ledgerwood said current leaf and grass collection was open to the public, but that limb disposal would probably bring some restrictions as to use.
