Exeter woman injured in crash

An Exeter woman was injured on Saturday in a wreck at 3:45 a.m. on Highway 76, west of Farm Road 2192.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mariah Sweaney, 26, of Exeter, was driving a 2003 Toyota 4Runner northbound when her vehicle failed to negotiate a left turn, traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway and overturned.

Sweaney suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

She was not wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.
