The Missouri Department of Transportation’s construction of a roundabout by the Monett Regional Airport, at the junction of Hwy. 60 and Hwy. 97, has reached the halfway point. This late October photo looking west shows revisions to the intersection generally finished, with a new median strips at the north (right) and left on Hwy. 97. Construction is expected to conclude by Nov. 20. MoDOT’s plans next call for installing another roundabout on Hwy. 60 at Farm Road 1100, east of Cox Monett Hospital.
