Trio of athletes graced with awards

Cubs, Lady Cubs collect Big 8 honors

The high school basketball season has officially ended in Missouri, but the time for award has just begun.

For the Monett Cubs and Lady Cubs, their hard work on the hardwood has paid off with a pair of Big 8 All-Conference awards.
On the boys’ side Monett’s Jack Stephens earned Honorable Mention accolades.
On the girls’ All-Big 8 team Kilee Wilson landed a Second Team nod, with Meredith Merriman named to the Honorable Mention team.
The Big 8 All-Conference boys team is as follows:
