Phyllis Marie Fulton

Phyllis Marie Fulton, 83, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

She was born on January 21, 1942, in Denton, Texas, to Thomas Norman “T.N.” and Edna (Sprayberry) Bothwell, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her daughter, Donna Dion Fulton; grandson, Jason Matthew Fulton; and brother, Larry Bothwell.

Survivors include her son, David Fulton, and his wife Fei of Houston, Texas; daughter, Dia McBurnett of Bella Vista, Ark.; sister, Jeannie Darlene Bothwell Ackard and her husband Larry of Keller, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.

She grew up and attended school in Denton, Texas, later studying nursing in Calif., while living with her mother and stepdad. She participated in dance and modeled part-time. After relocating to Cassville with her two daughters, she worked as a waitress at Crowe’s Dinner House, where she met Lynn Fulton. She then attended beauty school in Cassville and owned her own beauty shop after moving with Lynn to Rogers, Ark. She was a member of Eastside Assembly of God in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Eastside Assembly of God in Bentonville, Ark., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Robert Ward will officiate. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville, Mo.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the service begins on Thursday at Eastside Assembly of God in Bentonville, Ark.
