The Monett boys golf team won the 2025 Big 8 Conference championship. Jaxon Bailey, pictured, became a four-time Big 8 individual champion. August Black, Bryce Hoyt and Brady Rhea earned all conference honors for the team. Bailey and Black went on to compete at Class 4 Boys Golf State at Silo Ridge Golf & Country Club in Bolivar. Bailey finished tied for fifth with a 147 (71 and 76), and Black tied for 30th in the 97-player field with a 160 (74 and 86). Contributed photo
