The highly anticipated First on Front event series is back for 2026, continuing a beloved tradition that has brought the community together since 2018.

Designed to celebrate local businesses, families, and connection, First on Front has grown into a staple event focused on creating a welcoming space where the community can gather and enjoy live entertainment and variety of food trucks. 

Kicking off the season on May 1, the first event will take place in downtown Monett, featuring performances by Ty Harlan Music of Freistatt, Missouri, and Jeremy Phillips Music of Neosho, Missouri. Headlining the evening is DEK of Hearts, known for most recently placing third on NBC’s The Voice and performing in the 2026 Rose Parade.

The series continues with another exciting evening on June 5, once again in downtown Monett, highlighting the best of the community and local businesses. First on Front will also host a special pop-up event in Cassville on July 10, expanding the experience and bringing the same vibrant atmosphere to a neighboring community.

In 2026, the event’s sponsor, First State Bank of the Ozarks, is also using First on Front as part of a rebranding celebration, making this year’s series even more meaningful for both the organization and the community it serves.

“First on Front is all about supporting local, creating connections, and giving families a fun place to gather,” said  Amanda Lee, event coordinator. “We’re excited to continue this tradition and celebrate alongside our community in a big way this year.”

Attendees are encouraged to come out and enjoy the community atmosphere. Event organizers remind attendees to bring a lawn chair or lawn blanket and plan to stay for the evening. “The variety of music and variety of food available throughout the night makes it truly a fun, local experience,” food truck coordinator Angi Vanderbol said.
