Noah Holmes, of Monett, son of Joseph and Rebecca Holmes, has returned from serving two years in the California Fresno Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

“I wanted to serve Jesus Christ and knew what I needed to do,” Holmes said about why he chose the mission. “Life is so much better when I do what He wants me to do than when I do what I want to do.”

Holmes attended Monett and Pierce City High Schools, graduating from Pierce City High School in 2021. He participated on the Monett swim team and basketball. He also participated in basketball in Pierce City and added track and FFA.

Looking ahead, Holmes would like to be a veterinarian. Meanwhile, he has the goal of weekly attending the temple.
