Rachel Darlene Ash

Rachel Darlene Ash, 80, of Garfield, Ark., passed away Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, Ark.

She was born July 14, 1941, in Washburn, the daughter of Homer and Ethel (Clark) Burns. July 17, 1964, in Seligman, she was united in marriage to Raymond Ash, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, Mylon Ash of Bella Vista, Ark.; one brother, Bob Burns and his wife Ardith of Washburn; one sister, Mayo Rose of Eureka Springs; one sister-in-law, Leta Burns of Washburn; and four grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Lea Anna Ash; four brothers, James Burns, Henry Burns, Mickey Burns and H.E. Burns; and three sisters, Lillian Cargile, Evelyn Sullivan and Joycey Burns.

She grew up and received her education in Washburn, graduating from Southwest High School. After her marriage, she and Raymond moved to Gateway, Ark., where they have lived all their lives. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Rogers, Ark.

Services were held Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Reverend Darlene Robison conducted the services. Burial was at Roller Ridge Cemetery in Gateway, Ark.
