Silva being held on multiple no bond warrants

A Cassville man is being held in the Barry County jail on no bond after being arrested twice in a two-week period for possession of methamphetamine.

Dale Silva, 36, of Cassville, has six pending criminal cases, two of which were filed in June.

On May, 23, Barry County Deputy Anthony Larson conducted a traffic stop on Farm Road 1090 near Exeter. The driver, Silva, along with his passenger, both had revoked licenses.

Larson located a bag of suspected methamphetamine inside the car. A summons was sent to the Barry County Prosecutor Amy Boxx for charges of delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

On June 5, Larson observed the same subject driving a white Ford Flex, recalling Silva has a revoked drivers license. Larson conducted a traffic stop on Highway 112, and after further investigation, located more suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and he also charged Silva with driving while intoxicated.

Silva is currently being held in the Barry County Jail on several warrants that have a no bond and other warrants with bonds totaling $50,900, cash only.

He has six pending cases against him, and four of the cases have been bound over circuit court. Silva is facing the following charges:

• Dec. 19, 2019, possession of a controlled substance, no bond, disposition hearing set for 10 a.m. on Sept. 21 in the courtroom of Judge David Cole

•  April 27, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, no bond, disposition hearing set for 10 a.m. on Sept. 21 in the courtroom of Judge David Cole

•  April 27, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, no bond, disposition hearing set for 10 a.m. on Sept. 21 in the courtroom of Judge David Cole

• May 6, first-degree trafficking drugs, first-degree assault, armed criminal action, stealing a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon, no bond, disposition hearing set for 10 a.m. on Sept. 21 in the courtroom of Judge David Cole

• June 2, delivery of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, no bond listed on CaseNet, preliminary hearing set for 2 p.m. on July 22 in the courtroom of Judge Robert Foulke

• June 6, delivery of a controlled substance, misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, misdemeanor driving while revoked, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, $50,000 cash-only bond, preliminary hearing set for 1 p.m. on July 29 in the courtroom of Judge Robert Foulke.
