Women on Wheels take to area highways and byways

The Lady Cruisers of the Ozarks Chapter of Women on Wheels (WOW) hosted the 21st state rally on Saturday, with bikers from southwest Missouri, Kansas City, St. Louis, Clinton, Illinois, Wisconsin and Texas taking part in the event. The itinerary included a long ride to Cassville via Pleasant Ridge, Cape Fair, Roaring River State Park, and back through Washburn, Powell, Wheaton, Yonkerville and Monett. Group members stopped at the Freedom Silo in Monett before embarking on their day-long tour of the bi-county area. The mission of WOW is to unite all women motorcycle enthusiasts for recreation, education, mutual support, recognition, and to promote a positive image of motorcycling.
